On March 19, representatives of Pentada Trans took part in a large-scale event — “Customs Platform 2026. Authorized Economic Operator Institute and NCTS as Tools of European Integration.” The event became a key platform for direct dialogue between business, the State Customs Service, and international EU partners.

For our company, participation in such events is strategically important, as we stay up to date with current reforms that directly shape the speed and efficiency of our clients’ logistics chains.

During the opening of the platform, Ukraine’s Minister of Finance Serhii Marchenko noted impressive progress: the level of implementation of commitments in the customs area (Chapter 29 “Customs Union”) has already reached 96%. This means that Ukrainian customs is becoming максимально compatible with European systems, creating conditions for full access of Ukrainian businesses to the EU single market.

The central topic of discussion was the development of the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) institute. This is not just a status of a reliable partner, but a fundamental tool for companies aiming to integrate into European supply chains.

Special attention was paid to the implementation of NCTS Phase 6 and the update of the ICS2 system. Seminar participants analyzed the experience of EU countries (in particular, Hungary’s transition to new control rules in February) and the readiness of Ukraine’s customs IT infrastructure.

Customs European integration is not only about legislative changes, but also about a shift in business mindset. Transitioning to NCTS Phase 6 and actively obtaining AEO status is the only way to create a barrier-free environment with EU countries.

We do not just observe reforms — we integrate them into our workflows. Understanding the specifics of NCTS systems and AEO requirements allows us to provide our partners with the highest level of service and cargo security.

We thank the State Customs Service and the EU4PFM program for constructive dialogue. We are already working according to European standards today!
