“NEW” RULES, PARTICULARITIES, PROCEDURES. EXECUTION OF A GENERAL GUARANTEE FOR A TS DECLARATION
It is hard not to notice that with the expiry of the Customs Code of Ukraine on 7 November 2023, which allowed customs clearance of goods without presenting them to the customs authority, a significant number of companies found an alternative option and actively began to obtain simplifications. These simplifications allow for customs clearance of goods at authorised facilities of the companies.
In accordance with Article 249 of the Customs Code of Ukraine, the placing of goods at an authorised facility is possible only with the use of a general guarantee. PENTADA TRANS, as an exclusive representative of the “SALAMANDRA” insurance company, was one of the first companies to issue a general guarantee, which is used for placing goods in the authorised facility under the TS declaration (electronic notification of unloading). This type of declaration has its own peculiarities in terms of filling it in, so PENTADA TRANS, in close collaboration with the specialists of the State Customs Service, has developed its own instructions, which, step by step, reflect the algorithm for placing goods in an authorised facility under a general guarantee.
